Named OPPO A72 5G, the cheap 5G smartphone comes with a new design, aka not the same as other OPPO A series. The rear body design is made similar to the C11 realm, an entry level smartphone from the realm, with a slightly different camera module and texture around it.

As said last week, the front screen display was made similar to the NEO Display owned by the OPPO A92 and A52 series. The display of the bezel is thin with a punch hole camera on the top left side. Have the same IPS LCD panel full HD + resolution, refresh rate on the OPPO A72 5G screen increased to 90Hz.
The back of the body looks clean without a fingerprint sensor, because the sensor is placed on the right side of the smartphone body, integrated with the power button. The box camera module on the rear body holds three camera sensors along with an LED light. Each sensor has a resolution of 48MP, 8MP ultra wide-angle with an angle of 119 degrees, and 2MP black & white.
The dimensions are made lightweight and thin, only having a thickness of 7.9mm which is arguably equivalent to the OPPO Reno4 series. In addition, the weight is also only 175 grams, so users will not feel tired when using this smartphone for a long duration.
Running Android 10 with the ColorOS 7.2 interface, yesterday it was discovered that the OPPO A72 is powered by the MT6853V MediaTek chipset. It turns out that the chipset is MediaTek Dimensity 720, a 5G chipset that was recently inaugurated for a cheaper middle-class smartphone.
