Specifications
Color printing is 5.0 ipm through standard protocols for optimal performance. Cartridges compatible with this device include models PG-440 and CL-441 and some optional types. In addition, optional cartridge types include the PG-440XL and CL-441Xl models with higher production yields. Canon PIXMA MX374 supports media types such as plain, platinum professional photo paper, glossy photo paper. Other types of media include glossy photo paper and matte photo paper.
At the same time, the maximum media input load is up to 100 sheets of plain paper. In terms of media sizes, it can work with A4, A5, B5, letter, legal, envelope, and photo sizes. But media weight is between 64 and 105 g/m² for plain paper in normal print mode. Faxing with the Canon PIXMA MX374 model is done via the standalone component with the Windows-based systems fax modem. Color faxing works as usual with the same average speed of 33.6 kbps.
The compression method supports MH, MR, MMR for monochrome sending and JPEG for color faxing. It can also perform memory transmission through its internal storage with 200 x 200 dpi resolution for photo faxing. This fax memory can store up to 50 pages of plain paper.
